We are actively recruiting multiple Licensed Geotechnical Engineers to join our clients teams across several office locations, including Baton Rouge/New Orleans (Louisiana), Houston (Texas), and Beaumont (Texas). You will be working with an experienced team on high visibility projects in the Heavy Industrial Division. The projects include, but are not limited to, geotechnical aspects of design and construction of commercial buildings, industrial facilities (refineries, LNG, and chemical plants), highways, bridges, flood control structures, pipelines, power plants and water and wastewater facilities.

Duties include supporting Senior Engineering Staff in the management and execution of engineering projects. Routine activities include the following:

· Preparation of project proposals and cost estimates

· Assisting with overall development and management of engineering projects

· Partner with key stakeholders in the coordination and supervision of field and engineering tasks

· Performing engineering analyses and calculations, developing recommendations and preparing engineering reports for geotechnical projects

· Maintaining client expectations for project quality and schedule.

· Attend project and client meetings

· Participating in training and Professional Development opportunities

· Training and development of TWE Staff Professionals

· Assist other departments with geotechnical and other engineering services

· Provide management assistance with interoffice project coordination

Skills / Qualifications

· Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional geotechnical experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility

· M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (with geotechnical engineering emphasis) is a plus

· Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Louisiana, or ability to obtain licensure in 3 months

· Solid oral and written communication skills and ability to work well in multiple teams

· Familiar with standard geotechnical engineering software

· Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas with an entrepreneurial mindset

· Familiar with deep foundation design, installation and quality control testing
