About the Opportunity
We are currently hiring a Senior Project Architect / Senior Project Technical Designer for one of our clients, a forward-thinking interior architecture and workplace design firm. In this on-site role in Houston, youll lead construction documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration on complex projects, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring design excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and management of construction documents and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout design and construction.
  • Apply building codes and accessibility standards to ensure project compliance.
  • Oversee construction administration, submittals, RFIs, and field issues.

  • Mentor and guide junior project staff to elevate team performance and quality.

  • Participate in design reviews, charrettes, and client interactions to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Be immersed in the world of interior design and architecture and encourage others to strive for a greater depth and breadth of their technical knowledge.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA or NCARB-accredited school.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience. 

  • Registered Architect or Interior Designer (or actively pursuing registration within a year).

    Must participate in IIDA, AIA or other relevant professional organization.
  • Expertise in construction documentation, parametric modeling, and visualization tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Collaborative mindset and professional work ethic; able to work on-site 3+ days per week.
